Our product line consists of all types of synthetic fibers, yarns, and plastic raw materials. Headquartered in Atlanta, GA, USA, IFS has sales offices in China, as well as representatives throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas.

Tim Maxman, IFS President, has over 20 years experience in the import/export textile and plastics raw materials and by-products trade. Mr. Maxman is the 3rd generation of his family in the textile and waste industry, founded by his grandfather Bert Maxman in 1939. Tim Maxman joined his father Bill in the industry in 1986. Originally in the cotton and woolen fabric and rag trade, over the years the business has evolved with the industry. Today IFS handles all types of synthetic and natural fibers, yarns, waste and by-products. With an extensive network of trading partners throughout the world, IFS has an annual turnover of USD $10 million.
In recent years, IFS has expanded considerably with offices and representatives around the globe, particularly in the Far East and mainland China.
